Graham Caddies
Principal Consultant/Trainer/Auditor

Graham has over 28 years experience in management and supervision, general management and human resource management. He has specialised in risk, health and safety, injury, rehabilitation and human resource management for the last 16 years. This scope was expanded ten years ago to include quality, environment, compliance and business management.

In the early 90's he commenced and operated his own multi trade business in the area of repair/maintenance/renovations.

Graham has been in the consulting field for 21 years. From 1982-1988, Graham was North Queensland Manager of the National Safety Council of Australia (Qld Div).

During the period of Aug 88 to Dec 92, he was the Occupational health, Welfare and Safety Advisor and Comcare Case Manager for the Northern Region of the ATO. He served on the Comcare State Management Consultative Committee for three years and was instrumental in forming a group of Commonwealth Case Managers in North Qld, based in Townsville.

He is also a Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM)

Graham is the preferred consultant and trainer with Commerce Queensland (Townsville Region) he is also their preferred trainer for all safety related training. Graham is an accredited Workplace Health & Safety Officer Trainer with the division of Workplace health and Safety, for Service, General and Construction Industries.

He prepared and conducted a six month part time risk management course for TAFE Townsville. It was one subject forming part of the Certificate in Business Management.

Graham is a registered Lead Auditor for quality, safety and environment with RABQSA No 9698. He is a qualified and registered Workplace Health and Safety Officer for the manufacturing, service and construction industry. He is also a qualified Workplace Rehabilitation Officer with Workcover and is an accredited PQC, GTO and QRide Qld Government Auditor.

In February 2001, he was a reviewer on a Mine Warden's enquiry into a serious mine accident. Graham is currently Vice President Northern with the Qld Division of the Safety Institute of Australia and Vice President of the Townsville Branch of the SIA.

Between 2002 to 2006 he has investigated three workplace deaths and been an expert for the defence. He has provided an expert report for an unfair dismissal case and a common law case involving a fire.

For 40 years, Graham has been a member of the Army Reserve and is currently a Major. He has been working with Directorate of Occupational Health & Safety - Army for the last three years to improve the way they manage health & safety and risk.

As a great reward for his dedication to his business and his clients, Graham won the North Qld Manager/Owner of the year 2001 through the Australian Institute of Management's Management Excellence Awards.
